It can include any 2 D media or process, including photography but should use the Principles of Design as guiding concepts:- Unity/Variety, Rhythm, Proportion/Scale, Balance/Emphasis/Contrast, Repetition, Figure Ground relationship. AP Studio Art
Students at ISZL have a choice between entering for the Drawing portfolio or the 2 D Design portfolio. In a general sense the distinction is between a more Fine Art approach and a Design approach. The Drawing portfolio should include 12 pieces that show an engagement with drawing 'concerns'.
